FAQs for Autumn Term 2026

We will be launching our Autumn Term Courses very soon! To give you an idea of what to expect when the programme launches, we’ve put today a list of FAQs you may find useful – so whether you are a new or returning student, make sure to give them a read…

 Autumn Term: Your Questions Answered

What time will the courses be available to book?

The courses will be live on our site from Monday 20 July, 10.30am (BST).

What’s new this term?

We are pleased to announce that our Under 30s concession is now 50% off all our course programme!

If you are already eligible for any of the concessions we offer, please note our codes will be changing, so we would recommend contacting us by emailing [email protected] ahead of 17 July* by sending across proof of your eligibility and we will send you the new code ahead of launch day.

Please also note that you will always be required to provide proof of eligibility for our concessionary rates every time you book a course with us, so to ensure we are able to provide you with the code as soon as possible please attach a digital copy of proof for your eligibility when requesting your code.

What will be running this Autumn?

Our 3-term workshops will be back, plus we will be launching some brand-new Online courses with a host of brilliant tutors, including Theresa Lola, Kym Deyn, Camilla Nelson, Lewis Buxton, Erica Hesketh, plus many more!

We are also pleased to announce Jacqueline Saphra will also be running our Pathways 3 module! This is the next step for students currently in Pathways 2.

Will you be running any course repeats this term for those who missed out booking the first time?

Yes! We can confirm Rachel Bower’s course Prose for Poets, Poets for Prose will be running again for anyone who didn’t get the opportunity to attend last time it ran!

This course sold out very quickly the first time they ran so if you’re interested in joining this Autumn we would recommend securing your spot early to avoid disappointment.

Will there be priority booking for the 3-term workshops?

No, there will be no priority booking period this term and all courses will be first come first served.

Returning Students
If you have attended an Advanced workshop in the past, you can book your place without reapplying. Remember you can only rebook an Advanced workshop you have taken before. If you have been approved to attend an Advanced workshop in the past but would like to take one ran by a different tutor you will need to reapply.

New Students
If you wish to attend an Advanced workshop you have not taken before, or wish to attend an Advanced workshop with a different tutor, you will need to apply by sending across 3 poems to [email protected]. Please indicate which workshop you wish to apply for in your email. Once you have submitted your application we will hold a place for you on the workshop.

We will then contact you once the tutor has assessed your application (this may take a few weeks) and if accepted you will be sent a link to pay and secured your place.

Please do not pay for a space on the course before applying. If you do this, you will be refunded.

When will the Seminars be launched?

The seminars will be launched separately, and we are hoping the announce them around mid-late August. More information on signing up to our seminars will be announced nearer the time.

In the meantime, please try to hold back any seminar queries until then. If you attended a seminar in 2025/26 then you will be contacted by us directly on how to rebook for 2026/27.

I am not eligible for any of the concessions. Are there other financial support options available?

If you are not eligible for one of our concessions, then we encourage you to apply for a bursary. Our bursary form will be live on our Financial Support page from Monday 20 July 10.30am (BST). Once you submit the form a place on your chosen course will be held for you and you will be contacted once your application has been processed with the amount you have been awarded and any outstanding amount left to pay.

We also offer payment plans to help spread the cost of a course. If this is something you would like set up, please email us from Monday 20 July 10.30am (BST) and our team would be happy to assist.
