1-2-1

Tutorials, manuscript assessment and mentoring

Many Poetry School tutors give one-to-one teaching in person or by email. One-to-one sessions with a poet can give you personalised feedback on a selection of your work, advise you on submitting to magazines or discuss translation issues – tell us your particular requirements, and we’ll find someone to help at a convenient time and place for you.

‘Last month I used the Poetry School’s individual tutorial facility. The tutor [David Constantine] was most helpful. He had clearly read my poems before the meeting and, clearly, had given them considerable thought. I came away feeling that I had just had a master class in how poetry works and how poets should set about developing their craft. Thank you.’

Michael Mackay – student
