MA in Writing Poetry Open Day

On Saturday 14 March The Poetry School will be holding an MA in Writing Poetry Open Day, led by our MA Manager and poet Tessa Foley.

Do I have to register to attend?

Yes, in order to attend you must register. To do this, please contact [email protected] and you will be added to the register. Please note there are limited spaces available and it is first come first served, so if you are interested in attending we recommend registering as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Who is the MA Open Day for?

This event is for anyone who is interested in or considering applying to do a Masters in Writing Poetry.

Where does this take place?

This event will take place at Somerset House in London.

What will happen on the day?

Here is an example of the schedule from last year’s open day to give you an idea of what to expect:

  • Welcome Session
  • Workshops with MA Tutors
  • Student Experience overview
  • Informal questions & Taster Tutorials

Will food be provided?

Unfortunately there is no catering at this event, however there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby!

Is it free to attend?

Yes, however you must register for a place in order to attend.

Is there an option to join virtually?

Unfortunately there is no option to join the Open Day virtually, however our MA Manager Tessa will be holding a Zoom Q&A on Thursday 12 February for those unable to attend the Open Day to answer any questions you may have. To attend this, please contact her at [email protected].

Will there be opportunities for me to ask questions?
