Got something you’d like to see posted on the CAMPUS blog? Whether it’s an interesting idea for article, an exciting new event or perhaps you’d like to publish new work?
Submission Guidelines
News & Events (Competitions, Residencies, Spoken Word Nights, Festivals, Book Launches etc.) Send us a link to a relevant web page, or attach a press release.
Poetry (Poetry and new writing) We’re open to ideas, but we find poems under 30 lines or under 300 words are a good length. Several poems can be submitted at once, but we cannot ensure we will read them all. Again, please try and submit no more than 3 to 4 poems.
Blog Articles (Essays, reviews, interviews, general editorial, comment) An ideal blog post length is between 600-900 words. Please also include a biog and author pic.
Student Stories (Profile pieces written by students) If you’re currently a student with the Poetry School, we’d love to find out more about you and see you featured on the blog. Please send us around 500-1000 words, focusing on your involvement with poetry and recent activity/successes. A good example can be found here: http://www.poetryschool.com/featured-student/contemporary-poetry-in-iran.php
Open Workshops (Writing prompts and assignments) Got an idea for our Open Workshop series? Fancy running your own writing group? Please submit your ideas, one piece of A4 per proposal.
Art & Photography (Illustration, photography, drawing, artwork) If you’re an artist as well as a poet, then we’d love to feature an image of yours. Send us a link your website or online portfolio. If possible, avoid sending us actual images. We will accept links to Dropbox-style shared folders.
