Stein has written a little-read text called Two: Gertrude Stein and her Brother … which surprise surprise is not really about her brother at all. I read it as a mouth piece of sound in language ‘speaking’ how it functions through demonstration … a type of ventriloquism like Shaw is talking about in her up and coming w/shop (maybe) … what is your experience with Stein’s work? Do you privilege sound in your own writing and if so in which ways … lets see some examples … my own work in this area can be found here
