Happy Monday everyone.

A new week means a new prompt – this time it’s all about speed! Let us know how you get on – if you write anything from a scrap on a spare napkin to a full-length epic, be sure to share it here. If you’ve got ideas for future prompts or feedback on existing ones, that’s more than welcome too.

Happy Writing!

And go.

Good evening Pangaea and welcome to the first of our weekly #PROMPT videos! *cue party poppers & streamers*

We’re going to be posting one of these every Monday for the foreseeable future, encouraging you to keep writing throughout the year with new and interesting ideas and challenges to get your creative funk going. Throw some crazy shapes. Have fun with it.

I just want to take this second to welcome each and every one of you to this group, this website and this community. You’re all here for different reasons – maybe you’ve been writing for years but never shared your work before; maybe you tried it at school and want to get back into it; maybe you’re already part of several writers’ communities and this is a chance to meet even more incredible writers. And you’re all that: incredible. Never doubt that. If you’ve picked up a pen or put fingers to keys you’ve done a truly brave thing – you’ve decided to create something. Half the battle is already over. The next half is just about one thing: keep going! Whatever goal you’re aiming for – publishing, reading in public for the first time, becoming a better writer, that’s all wrapped up in that one thing: Keep going. We’re here to help with that. Welcome.

Let’s write some poems.
