2 questions:  Re the header at the top of the page my Group shows ‘last activity’ as hours ago, even when I have added a new comment. What does the term active actually mean?

Also in the header: does the red icon ‘LEAVE GROUP’ do the same job as the [=>  sign out symbol on my dashboard?  If not, what is its function?

Hope we are starting to feel our way around the new website. It’s still being improved on all the time so hopefully it’ll be even more intuitive in the weeks to come and it’ll all begin to become second nature.

One positive update: you can now re-sign up for different levels of email notifications from your CAMPUS groups. This includes a Daily Digest, All Activity or Weekly updates. Just click on the ‘Get email updates’ button in the top-bar of any group page to edit your preferences any time.

I had thought about it for a while but the ‘invite’ jump-started me! So I’ve kicked off and posted a comment too. I am used to critiquing as I’ve been going to Sally Baker’s class for a few years at Hebden Bridge (WEA) but it always feels nerve wracking in a new place. But good too. Looking forward to reading and writing more poetry on here, finding out about events, competitions, submissions etc.
I’m continuing, so far, with the poem a day on my blog, for this April 2016.

It was a bit of a surprise to find that posts were so limited in length. Comments often had to be split in rather arbitrary places and continued on in the next post, which was less than ideal, especially when cutting and pasting prepared comments and finding they didn\’t fit.

CAMPUS team, is this something that can be changed? Doubling the length limit on posts would probably be enough.

I couldn\’t actually see the documents page, but I followed upload links from posts within the group. I have no problem downloading on my PC.
