Her critically-acclaimed book, The Marlowe Papers, was published by Sceptre (2012) in the UK and St Martins Press (2013) in the US. Ros has had poems published in Faber, Virago, Forward, and Seren anthologies, including Faber’s Poems of the Decade, and her short fiction has been published by Bloomsbury and Serpents Tail. Her poems have also appeared in The Guardian & the Independent on Sunday. Since 2000 Ros Barber has undertaken numerous public art commissions. A book of narrative poems for the Isle of Sheppey was short-listed for SEEDA’s Award for Art in Public Places 2004. Moreover, she has over two decades’ experience teaching creative writing at Goldsmiths and the University of Sussex on undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
‘Over the last year, this course has shaped me into a better poet, which is largely due to the friendly and supportive, but still critical attitude of the group and Ros’s expert leadership and feedback.’
