In-depth 1-2-1 discussion on your poetry with Leah Umansky
This is a rare opportunity for feedback on your work from acclaimed poet and tutor Leah Umansky, author of The Barbarous Century (Eyewear, 2018) and curator and host of The COUPLET Reading Series in NYC.
Leah will spend 1 July resident at the Poetry School, with four 1-hour slots available, for in-depth one-to-one discussion on your poetry; so book a slot and prepare a selection of poems-in-progress for advice and guidance.

To book your session with Leah, click ‘purchase course’ and then select a slot from the drop-down menu. You may submit up to 6 poems of no more than 150 lines total. Poems should be sent to [email protected]ryschool.com no less than 2 weeks before your session.
All classes will be in our offices at 1 Dock Offices, Surrey Quays Road, Canada Water, SE16 2XU. The venue is a 2-minute walk from Canada Water Station. Take the ‘Lower Road’ exit from the station onto Surrey Quays Road, then walk straight ahead, crossing over Deal Porters Way, and the Dock Offices come up on the left. The door for the school is at the far end of the building.

She earned her MFA in Poetry at Sarah Lawrence College and is the curator and host of The COUPLET Reading Series in NYC.
