This is a rare opportunity for feedback on your work from acclaimed poet and tutor Fiona Sampson, author of Come Down (Corsair, 2020), The Catch (Chatto & Windus, 2016), Rough Music (Carcanet 2010), and the critically acclaimed biography, In Search of Mary Shelley (Profile, 2018)

Fiona will spend 21 October resident with the Poetry School, with four 1-hour slots available, for in-depth one-to-one discussion on your poetry; so, book a slot and prepare a selection of poems-in-progress for advice and guidance.

The following slots are available (all times given in GMT):

10.30–11.30am
11.45am–12.45pm
2.30–3.30pm
3.45–4.45pm

To book your session with Fiona, click ‘purchase course’ and then select a slot from the drop-down menu. You may submit up to 6 poems of no more than 150 lines total. Poems should be sent to [email protected] no less than 2 weeks before your session.

About Fiona Sampson View Profile

Fiona Sampson has published twenty-nine books, most recently Come Down (Corsair, 2020) and a critically acclaimed biography In Search of Mary Shelley (2018), and received a number of national and international awards for poetry. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, she’s received an MBE for services to literature, and been published in thirty-seven languages. She now lives in an old farm in a valley on the Welsh borders.
