Monthly seminar groups with Heidi Williamson, featuring close reading, in-depth discussion and feedback on your poems-in-progress, as well guidance on your next steps as a poet and conversation around contemporary poetry. With a maximum of eight students, these seminars provide an intimate setting and generate supportive and critical friendships, helping you to become part of your local poetry community.
Entry into this group is by application only. If you would like to sign up, please contact the office for information and we will assist you in the application process. Do not book online before applying.
8 x monthly sessions between October and May. The first 3 sessions of the year will run on Zoom, with the remaining 5 being scheduled to take place in person, in The Wymondham Heritage Museum (NR18 0NS). Classes will run 1.30–4.30pm on the below dates.

Heidi Williamson is a poetry surgeon for The Poetry Society and mentors poets by Skype worldwide for The Writing Coach and Poetry School. She studied poetry and prose at the UEA, and reads and delivers workshops regularly throughout the UK. Her first collection Electric Shadow(Bloodaxe, 2011) was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Centre Prize for Poetry.
